Privacy notice

This notice explains what AiRanker collects when you run a free AI visibility check, why, and how long we keep it. It describes what the service actually does — not a generic policy.

What we collect

• What you type into the check: your business name, website, main location, and primary service.
• Your email address, so we can confirm the request and send you the result.
• What the AI engines answered when asked about your trade, including which sources they cited.
• Technical data needed to run the service: IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and a session cookie.

Why we ask for your email

A check costs us money to run, so we confirm the address before starting one. You will receive a confirmation link, and the result when it is ready. If we later email you an offer to re-run the check, every one of those carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in.

Who we share it with

• DataForSEO — runs the queries against the AI platforms. It receives the buyer questions we generate, which contain your business name, service and location. It does not receive your email address.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — checks the submission is not automated.
• Stripe — only if you buy a report. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers.
• Laravel Cloud — hosts the application and database, in the EU West (London) region.
• Stackmail — delivers our email.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

A free check that is never confirmed, or never claimed into an account, is deleted after 90 days by a scheduled job. If you claim the check into an account, the data belongs to that account and is kept until you delete it or close the account.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will action it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use a session cookie and a CSRF token, both strictly necessary for the site to function. Cloudflare Turnstile sets its own cookie to perform the bot check. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
